Brining Back the Parish Arts Funding Program (PAF)

We are very excited to be bringing back the PAF program to Terrebonne Parish. Grants from this program will fund arts programming or projects that incorporate any art genre and are accessible to the community members of Terrebonne Parish. More information will be posted on our website under the “grants” page once it is finalized; such as the grant guidelines, an application training date and the application deadline. We look forward to enhancing the availability to experience the arts in Terrebonne Parish through this program once again!

Membership Drive Updates

Our first official membership drive has been successful so far. A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Brunet of People’s Drug Store, Inc. and Ms. Marguerite Knight for contributing at the “Charter Member” level. Please Join Us for Duckin’ Out For The Arts 2017!

On Friday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day) the Bayou Regional Arts Council will host it’s second annual fundraiser at the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum located at 7910 Park Avenue in downtown Houma from 7 p.m – 11 p.m. We will once again have a “raft” of duck decoys that have been re-done by local artists up for auction. You won’t want to miss these decoys, each is unique and artfully represents a part of local culture. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bayou Saxophone Ensemble. There will be drinks, including our famous “Ugly Duckling” cocktail as well as light food. There will be a door prize for one “Lucky Duck” and a gift basket giveaway open to those who are BRAC members. Tickets are $35 per person and will be available shortly for purchase on our website or at the Waterlife Museum. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the ducks and more about the arts scene in our area!
