Postponed to August 15
Duckin’ Out for the Arts started in 2015 along with the arts council and has been a staple event for our supporters every year. Event sponsors and members are able to showcase the ducks before the event to raise awareness of BRAC and what we do.
Visit local stores like People’s Drugs in downtown Houma to see ducks a display of what our artists have produced in the past.
The event is held in the Terrebonne Waterlife Museum at 7910 Park Avenue, Houma and makes use of the entire facility. Guests are able to walk through the museum to discover the ducks and place their bids while enjoy music and learning about the programs that BRAC supports throughout the year.
This is a great event to learn more about BRAC and the programs what we support. To see a list of our programs visit our programs page.
BRAC Membership includes a free ticket to the event and you can sign up to become a member at the door. The perks of being a member are listed on our membership page.
The Silent Auction will feature our signature artists ducks! These ducks are currently located at the Waterlife Museum and will be displayed at our sponsor locations as the event approaches.
Artwork by local artists and unique experiences will also be up for auction.
Here are ducks from previous years, the ones from 2020 are being created right now!
Special thanks to our 2020 title sponsor People’s Drug Store in downtown Houma! Thanks to their continued generosity, the arts council will be able to continue serving and helping to improve the arts in the region.
